In this post we’ll take a look at how to take a screenshot in PUBG. There are a few different ways to do this, and I found two which are best.
Some people have been having trouble taking screenshots in-game with their usual setup and I figured I’d shed some light on how to take a screenshot. After all, you wouldn’t wanna miss the chance to brag about your chicken dinner, would you?
So let’s get to it..
How to Take a Screenshot in PUBG
Method 1. Steam
Steam can take a screenshot in any Steam game, as you probably already know. How to take a screenshot on Steam?
The default key to do so is F12.
Unfortunately, some people have been having trouble with this. Often times, the problem is caused by some other application that takes over the F12 key.
Software like MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner which are often used to show an OSD with temperatures, CPU load etc. can be the cause. Turn it off and start the game, everything should work just fine.
Screenshot folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\195763384\760\remote
You can also access your Steam screenshots by going to the Screenshot Manager: choose your game from the drop-down menu, select your screenshot and then click on the “SHOW ON DISK” button in the bottom left corner.
Method 2. GeForce Experience
If you own an Nvidia card, I recommend having GeForce Experience installed. It allows you to easily stream your games to Twitch and even Facebook, as well as recording a video of your gameplay. Say you’ve done something cool but forgot to turn on streaming? You can hit a hotkey and GeForce Experience will save the past minute of gameplay into a video. Nifty.
Other than that, GeForce Experience can of course also take screenshots.
The key combo is Alt+F1
The nice thing about this method is that it will allow you to easily upload your screenshot(s) to Imgur or Facebook after your session, which makes it a snap to brag with your friends.
Screenshot folder: C:\Users\(Username)\Videos
Method 3. Gyazo (Free)
Gyazo is a small free utility to take screenshots or GIF animation of your screen. It’s small and makes taking screenshots a snap.
Just install the application and open it. Then, when you’re in game, press the hotkey.
The key combo is Ctrl+Shift+C (for images)
Screenshot folder: None. (Gyazo uploads your screenshot and copies it to your clipboard. You can simply open Paint (or any other image software), and Ctrl+V your screenshot in place.)
In Conclusion
Hope this little post helps you if you’re having trouble taking screenshots in PUBG.
Have fun!

Hi Nralai, the default folder for Steam is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\195763384\760\remote. I added the default folders for the different methods in the article as well.
Thanks for the comment!
